Australian death/doom metal band ILLIMITABLE DOLOR return with a new album

Here’s the much-awaited follow-up album by the Australian band Illimitable Dolor that has members of The Slow DeathHorrisonousNazxul, etc. They released a stunning debut in 2017 and this one takes the sound forward in all possible ways. As was the case first time around, the band pays tribute to friend and The Slow Death band member Gregg Williamson who passed away and over here they’ve even named a song on the day of his demise. Check out the atmospheric death/doom music that the band delves into ever so gracefully here on Bandcamp and YouTube. Interestingly, they have not one but three different artworks for this release which have been used for the CD/Digital, LP and Box Set versions.

Australian atmospheric death/doom metal masters return after releasing a brilliant self-titled debut that was lauded the world over for its sincerity and purity of expression. ‘Leaden Light’ carries on where they last left, drenched in wistful melancholy and stirring up faded albeit rich memories. With three artworks made for the CD, LP and box set editions exclusively, this is an ambitious release from the band that features some of the best music in the style without overdoing any aspect of it.
