THERMATE reveal album details! Debut out this May on Argonauta Records!

Debut out this May on Argonauta Records!

Earlier last year, ARGONAUTA RECORDS have proudly anounced a new family member to their eclectic artist roster, when Finland’s heavy fuzz rockers THERMATE have inked a worldwide deal with the ever-growing label. Today the band is finally sharing some first details about their first full-length album with us, which will be seeing the light of day this Spring!

Hailing from the beautiful landscapes of Kuopio and formed in 2012, the five-piece band conjures the sounds of the 70’s heavy metal-era, to refine it with the glory of classic 90’s stoner rock.
In 2016 THERMATE released their debut EP, Off to Hades, followed by the band’s sophomore and critically acclaimed EP, Black Desert Highway. May 10th 2019 will see THERMATE release their first album titled Redshift City!

The band comments: „Thermate is beyond excited to reveal our first full length album! During writing, the songs formed into true heavy-as-shit epics, still with a lot of dynamics and variety. We really tried to push the limits of stoner rock, not limiting ourselves just to genre-music. While making things proggy enough to be interesting, we still didn’t want to make our music too indulgent or difficult; the heavy stoner groove and huge guitar riffs are always there. Needless to say, we can’t wait to release the album and play these songs live!“

The tracklist of Redshift City will read as follows:

1. Eyes of Jupiter
2. Godspeed
3. Soliloquy
4. Kaleidoscope
5. Greener Pastures
6. 100 Years

THERMATE is:
Arthur Thure – Vocals
Mikko Väätäinen – Guitar
Juuso Honkanen – Guitar
Jere Tirkkonen – Bass
Kimmo Partanen – Drums
