"This song originally started out as a long winded view on Iceland’s hookup culture. But as I was writing it, someone extremely close to me went through the hell of being drugged twice in a year when trying to have a good time in downtown Reykjavík. It was hard to be on the sidelines. Being in such a small isolated country and seeing such fucked up things brought Icelandic nightlife into a new light for me. I beg anyone who reads this, or listens to the song, to consider watching out for those around them. Make sure the people in your life are safe." - Great Grief
