Hot on the heels of their recent album release, VENOM PRISON announced a collaboration with apparel brand The Hundreds.
Of the collaboration, the band comments:
“VENOM PRISON are continually inspired by people doing great things with multiple mediums. Collaborating with The Hundreds has been a bucket list realised for our first venture into streetwear. We are inspired by The Hundredsand their work within fashion and editorial, and we hope their influence on culture, whether it’s skate or punk lasts a lifetime. Bringing in one of our favourite current artists, Mark Riddick, into the fold to be on artwork duties for this collaboration was the final missing piece to this unholy collaboration.”
The Hundreds’ CEO, Bobby Hundreds, adds:
“I was first introduced to VENOM PRISON by EJ Johantgen of Prosthetic Records, and was immediately drawn to their remarkable swing and momentum. Having grown up in the ‘90s worshipping metal-infused hardcore, VENOM PRISON is the yin to my yang, speaking to hardcore-infused metal in a way that bridges generations.
“Also, consider Larissa Stupar’s presence as a woman singer in a death metal band. Her very existence in this male-dominated music culture is a political statement. And, so I was further engaged to Venom Prison because of Larissa’s hard stances against social causes I align with: speaking out against misogyny, rape culture, and racism. Death metal rarely makes an inroads in streetwear, but progressive opinions and outspokenness are the undercurrent of our culture. So, The Hundreds and VENOM PRISON asked our mutual friend and favorite artist, Mark Riddick, to set our relationship in stone. This is The Hundreds X Venom Prison by Mark Riddick.”
The design will be available as both a T-shirt and sweatshirt, and is available now via The Hundreds website.
VENOM PRISON’s follow up to 2016’s debut Animus, Samsara has already amassed wide spread critical acclaim. The ten track album is out now via Prosthetic Records.
VENOM PRISON will embark on full UK and European tour as main support to Fit For An Autopsy. The uncompromising five-piece will head out on the road from May through to June; also joining the tour will be Vulvodynia & Justice For The Damned.

ABOUT VENOM PRISON:
VENOM PRISON first pummelled the jugular of the underground with a self-released demo Defy the Tyrant in 2015. They continued to rip through the touring circuits of the UK and Mainland Europe following up with The Primal Chaos EP. Once a steady and full line-up was established with the addition of bassist Mike Jefferies, the band then went on to release their debut full length Animus on Prosthetic Records. This propelled the band into the spotlight earning them the prestigious Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band in 2017. With this recognition they continued their assault on the UK, Mainland Europe, North America and Canada with their energetic and passionate performances alongside many respected bands such as Trivium, Code Orange, Aborted, Power Trip. With new drummer Joe Bills joining the ranks from early 2019 the live audio violence looks set to continue unabated.
