„With their mixture of dark rock and alternative metal, the band has its finger right on the pulse of the times which bodes well for the future."
METAL HAMMER (D), Lisa Gratzke
“Not only maturing their sound, but also diversifying it, the LP tears through some classic digital influences, whilst also throwing in crushing riffs and singalong moments (…) With 'Breathe in Colours', FOREVER STILL have branched out and in doing so, have brought a sense of brightness into a numbingly, grey universe.”
HYSTERIA MAG (AUS), Chanel Issa
"'Breathe In Colours' does an outstanding job at retaining the same vulnerable spirit as its predecessor and never losing that integral, personal touch; further enforcing the fact that this band are not just exciting for Denmark, but anywhere that heavy metal leaves its unmistakable fingerprint."
METAL WANI (INT), Carl O'Rourke
Denmark’s highflyers FOREVER STILL unleash their sophomore full-length release »Breathe In Colours«, diving the listener right into a dark concept of a dystopian cyberpunk future, mixing modern metal with melodic hard rock and strong female vocals.
This time, the band has evolved their songwriting skills even further, without producing a carbon copy of its predecessor »Tied Down«, released in 2016. Instead, the new album drifts both into more epic moments like on the captivating opener ‘Rew1nd‘ or ‘Embrace The Tide’, while frontwoman Maja Shining also delivers her heaviest screams to date on the groovy ‘Survive’ or their emotional declaration of war, ‘Fight!’.
As a final taster, FOREVER STILL reveal the special bonus track – the Lou Reed cover ‘Perfect Day’. Watch the atmospheric new music video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO1pkCXu70U

When Philip K. Dick wrote what would later become Blade Runner, no one would have believed that the dystopian cyberpunk future he imagined 2019 to be, would be so similar to the world we live in today…This realisation is what sparked the idea for the new album from FOREVER STILL –»Breathe In Colours«. For the first time, the songwriting duo of singer Maja and multi-instrumentalist Mikkel Haastrup have decided to make the album a more collaborative effort and therefore brought their long time live drummer, Rune Frisch, into the studio with them to record the drums – a big step for the two young musicians who handled everything on their own on the previous record, from music videos to band photos, the album production and even concert booking. After sweat, blood and tears and the surprising use of a theremin, the result of FOREVER STILL’s efforts to break through the numbing grey, is a surprisingly diversified and mature album that breathes fresh air – and colours – into the bland rock scene.
