Old School metal revivalists CORNERS OF SANCTUARY (COS) have made it official, as their highly acclaimed latest album “The Galloping Hordes” is now available for pre-order on vinyl during a limited time only. The album, which was initially released last year on the German label, Killer Metal Records, is being re-issued on vinyl by US-based Exquisite Noise Records.
This limited edition pressing includes the band’s originally intended cover artwork, all newly re-mastered tracks, helmed once again by Los Angeles based legendary producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Fates Warning, W.A.S.P.) specifically for the vinyl format. The vinyl release also includes the additional bonus track “Ready for Battle,”.

“We are so excited to have the Hordes album available on vinyl,” said Mick Michaels, COS guitarist. “This is definitely something we wanted to include as part of the record’s overall release schedule and now it’s finally happening…” he continued, “… and we couldn’t be happier.”
In conjunction with the vinyl release and a number of shows, COS is currently working in the studio on material for their next album, “Heroes Never Die,'” which is planned for release in 2020 on Killer Metal Records. In addition to the new album, the band is also recording a handful of songs that will release as one-off singles throughout the remainder of this year, with the next one slated to be made available in early June.
“We plan to keep moving forward…stay the course,” said COS bassist James Pera. “It’s all about progress and really depends on how you choose the look at things…and we look at everything as an opportunity to experience,” he added.
Corners of Sanctuary will be appearing with former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley on April 29th, along with some New England dates in June and a West Coast tour in September which includes support for the Iron Maidens at the famous Whiskey A Go-Go.
