Austin, Tx metallic hardcore group INSVRGENCE have unleashed a devastating single from their forthcoming new album Hell At Last, which comes out November 1st via Stay Sick/Eulogy Recordings. The track sees the politically charged group continuing to up their emotionally raw, ferocious intensity.
The group said of the new song, ““The Grey” is about the dangers of political apathy and centrism. The line “Don’t sit on the fence, you’ll be impaled upon it” refers to the Tolerance paradox and fence walkers.
If you are tolerant of intolerance then the intolerant consume the tolerant and If you choose to not take a side, you automatically side with the oppressor because you are normalizing and enabling their actions.”
To coincide with the album release INSVRGENCE have announced an album release tour alongside Remain and Sustain. The trek, which runs from October 25 – November 15, and covers a large portion of the West Coast and Midwest.
The band offered in explanation of the new effort, “The album is called “Hell At Last” and its general theme is finding moments of solace in the hardest times you’ve ever known and acknowledging that in order for something to be reconstructed into something greater (personal lives/systems of government/Etc…) it must first be fully acknowledged, analyzed and destroyed.
Hell being the transitionary period and the proclamation of joy being that we know even Hell is better than what we knew before.”
