Punk rock trio TRASHED release video for ‘Charlie Sheen’

TRASHED have released a video for their new single ‘Charlie Sheen’, out today (13th December 2019). For fans of Sum 41 and early-era Green Day and Blink-182TRASHED are Bristol’s answer to 90s/00s style punk rock, delivering a unique sound of neck-breaking riffs and throat shredding melodies that are soaked in a sense of nostalgia.

The lyrics for ‘Charlie Sheen’ were written by frontman Jimmy Embleton-Smith before starting a ten-hour bar shift, trying to distract himself after a sleepless night from the impending doom of drinking, making poor life choices and wondering why he hadn’t learnt his lesson before.

TRASHED worked with producer Neil Kennedy (Milk TeethCreeperBoston Manor) to cultivate the sound for their stripped-back, catchy, 90s inspired punk rock songs that explore topics including vegetarianism, feeling disenfranchised and dealing with anxiety. The trio, who only formed in January 2019, released their debut EP Yours Not Mine earlier this year and have garnered over 240,000 Spotify streams since their inception.

TRASHED are currently working on their second EP, details of which will be revealed soon.
