LIVE SUFFER DIE is Lance Gifford’s final recording and last collaborative effort with Lörd Matzigkeitus (The Projectionist, The Black Sorcery). A unique and cult US / Canadian Black Metal cooperative, LIVE SUFFER DIE is riddled with grim guitar craft akin to JUDAS ISCARIOT juxtaposed with one of the most insane vocal performances since BETHLEHEM “Dictius Te Necare” or SILENCER “Death – Pierce Me”!
LIVE SUFFER DIE exudes the dissonant viciousness of genuine depression from behind sepulchural gates; riff by riff, Lance Gifford drops listeners into the depths of such negativity. Fleeting moments of clarity are swept away by the tools of self-destruction, only to be dredged up for another harsh serving of vile reality. Icy guitar melodies open chasms in glaciers of private pain while twisted, glorious grief takes hold by way of unrestricted, psychotic vocalizations (fervently executed by Lörd Matzigkeitus).
