MOONSCAPE – Check out New Single “The Throes of Desperation”

It’s almost two since the multi-instrumentalist Håvard Lunde’s from norwegian project MOONSCAPE released the debut album ‘ENTITY’ of 2017. The album at the time achieved an excellent feedback from the specialist media around the world, reaching a place among the best albums of the year on various websites, magazines and zines. Now after a long uncertain period MOONSCAPE returns to the scene to deliver the first single “THE THROES OF DESPERATION” as part of the next album to be released in 2020.

As well as ‘ENTITY’ which brought in the context of the participation of several excellent musicians, the new album will ensure some surprises with well-known public names in a unique alchemy of talented musicians contrasting differentials with MOONSCAPE‘s sound.

For the first single HÅVARD LUNDE joined DAVID AKESSON, the Swedish singer and multi-instrument that gives life to the band QANTICE. In addition to this the track also brings the Brazilian RAFAEL AGOSTINO from the well known band ARMORED DAWN to a wonderful keyboard solo, a moment influenced by the more classic and professional progressive. Joining the team is also JOHN KIERNAN, the American guitarist and songwriter who brings the Montclair Gamer Symphony Orchestra to his resume, as well as MARK ANTHONY K, the Canadian multi-instrumentalist of PROJEKT GEMINEYE.

The track is written, composed, recorded and produced by Håvard Lunde, who also performed all basic instrumentation and programming, as well as spoken vocal reflections of the character “Father”, who also appeared on the album “Entity” in 2017.

THE THROES OF DESPERATION” is now available for listening and purchase through Bandcamp and may eventually be available on major streaming platforms.
