The new Danish comet on the death metal sky, WAYWARD DAWN, is ready to take on the European capitals this spring when they roll out on the road for the first time from April 14 to May 9 as support for the legendary grindcore/death metal extremists Terrorizer.
The status of Terrorizer on the extreme metal scene should not be underestimated. With their demos in the late ’80s and with the 1989 release “World Downfall,” the band helped shape and form the school for the extreme metal in Los Angeles. That’s not least due to ex-Morbid Angel drummer, Pete Sandoval, great drumming. Terrorizer got up to date with the 2018 release “Caustic Attack.”
Wayward Dawn, from Skanderborg, embarks on their first European tour in the wake of their upcoming release “Haven Of Lies”, which will be released on Mighty Music on April 10, produced by Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere/The Candidate). The band states: “We’re very stoked and honoured to be going on our first Europe tour this April supporting grindcore legends Terrorizer! The timing is perfect, with our new album “Haven of Lies” being released only a few days before the tour!”
The tour starts in Poland and will then see the band visit places in countries such as Germany, Italy and Spain. Of course, Denmark is also on the list. Here the tour will hit Gimle in Roskilde on April 16 and two days later in Aarhus for the Royal Metal Fest on April 18.
