Spanish Black Metal outfit AVERSIO HUMANITATIS join Debemur Morti Productions and unveil details of their upcoming new album, “Behold The Silent Dwellers”.
“Behold The Silent Dwellers” is an abyss of swirling ebon dissonance using flourishes of despondent psychedelia and unrelenting brutality to accent a menacing, Black Metal core.
The audial manifestation of megalopolitan pathos, concrete skylines and cold dystopian cityscapes, it stands tall and foreboding like the ruins of countless metropolises man will leave behind him.
No Clean Singing, who helped premiere the track, wrote about it : “It is a meticulously crafted work, well-calculated, through an alchemical transmutation of black metal, psychedelia, and post-metal (among other ingredients) to take listeners far outside themselves, and to give voice to what lies suppressed within us.”
Produced, mixed and mastered by S. at The Empty Hall Studio, in Spain, “Behold The Silent Dwellers” was engineered by S. and Luis Fernando Lopez. All photography and art design by A.
Since their conception in Madrid in 2010, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS have meticulously crafted their sound to build a colossal barrier of crushing rawness that explores the different ramifications of human existence and the irony of its destructive pursuit of perfection.
After the 2011 unveiling of their debut record “Abandonment Ritual”, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS took part in the split “Three Ways Of Consciousness” in 2013 alongside SELBST and NIHIL, as well as a split with PRIMIGENIUM in 2015, exploring harsh new levels of sonic depth with each release. 2017 saw the band unleash their landmark EP “Longing For The Untold”, further evolving and pushing the boundaries of their sound with savage dissonance and the inclusion of sepulchral Death Metal stylings while fluidly summating all that came before.
Coinciding with their tenth anniversary in 2020, AVERSIO HUMANITATIS will deliver their second full-length album “Behold The Silent Dwellers“. Taking the sound of its antecessor EP to a more distressing and intricate sensory cosmos, “Behold The Silent Dwellers” serves as a walk through the ghostly remnants of abandoned cityscapes through a medium of unrelenting dissonant Black Metal.
