AYYUR – Tunisian avantgarde black metallers unleash haunting new EP!

North African avantgarde black metallers AYYUR return with a new EP – the haunting and chameleonic “Balkarnin”, fourteen minutes of shapeshifting sounds soaked in ancient mystical influences.

Weaving together layers of dense textures, ceremonial rhythms and looming atmospheres, AYYUR excels at the art of organized chaos through sound. Across this new material the band blends elements of black metal, avantgarde music and traditional folklore with ambient explorations, epic sensibilities and grinding walls of sound that defy categorization.

Hailing from Sousse, Tunisia, AYYUR have joined forces with Dead Red Queen Records (US) and Bad Moon Rising (TW) to bring forth this latest hex of atmospheric black metal. In addition to their new EP, the B-side of the cassette contains 4 unreleased bonus tracks from 2013 – 2010 – 2008 that are exclusive to this limited edition tape that comes in 3 separate shell variants with only 100 copies available worldwide.
