With the world currently holding up due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, shows and releases are being canceled or postponed. Amid the latest events, Brazilian extreme metallers Chaos Synopsis took advantage of quarantine to create and record the track “Coronavirus“. This new song, which was recorded remotely, was written by Friggi Mad Beats and Jairo Vaz in less than 20 minutes.
At the moment, guitarists Luiz Ferrari and Diego Santos are under observation, as there is a suspicion that they have contracted COVID-19, so the mission and responsibility went to drummer Friggi, who obviously recorded the drums, in addition to the guitar and bass lines. The lead guitar was played by special guest Sebastian Phillips, better known for his work with Exhumed.
The band’s signature sound is strong for portraying brutal stories in the songs, which in the case of this single portrays the worst of the health crisis that plagues humanity.
