Canada’s Omniarch have unleashed their second single ‘Pathfinder’ from their debut self-titled album that is scheduled for release on May 8, 2020.
The album itself, as the band suggests, is a vastly differing and unique journey through history, mythology, imagination, and learning through introspection and reflection. The seven tracks are a composite of progressive and technical death metal, played by five seasoned musicians that bring an eclectic set of skills to the band.
‘Pathfinder’ is a track about personal honesty, about feeling what you love, doing what you love, and being who you truly are. The band explains their expectations of the album and hopes for listeners reception:
“It is suitable for fans of aggressive, progressive and technical metal music, it is something new, but still within the realms of what we know and love. Our debut release is our full, headlining set, and plays great in the order of the album”
Recommended for anyone with an interest in melodic, technical, relentless death metal especially fans of The Black Dahlia Murder, The Absence, and Arsis.
