SXUPERION Unleashes New Single – “Planet Crusher – Defeating The Holy Emperor”

SXUPERION have unleashed a new single from forthcoming album Omniscient Pulse. Stream “Planet Crusher – Defeating The Holy Emperor” at:

SXUPERION will release a new album of Deep-Space Atmospheric, Irreligious Death Metal called Omniscient Pulse on June 15 via Bloody Mountain Records.

Pre-order Omniscient Pulse:

SXUPERION is the solo project of Matthew (drummer for ValdurWeverin, etc). Omniscient Pulse is based on how this current reality is just a deep-sleep dream, and when one dies in this life, you awaken on a different world in a further dimension. And on that new world, the battle truly begins. The story continues combining ultimate darkness and divine beauty, along with cruel simplicity and cosmic complexity… a new universe awaits.

“Sxuperion offers an unusual, but captivating concoction of black metal/grindcore ferocity, death metal grit and heft, and ambient/progressive expanse, although Omniscent Pulse is perhaps the most concise effort since the 2014 full-length debut Through Cosmic Corridors.” (4/5)
– Metal-Rules

“Omniscient Pulse is another strong addition to Sxuperion’s interstellar catalog of primordial mysteries and horrors.” (9.3/10)
– MetalBite

“A potent mix of atmosphere with death metal riffing and attitude.”
– Heaviest of Art
