The Brazilian band Agressivo Pau Pôdi comes with more news in 2020: a videoclip. Preparing for the release of their second album, “A Mais Perfeita Obra de Satanás” (Satan’s most perfect work), the band released some singles that will be present in it. One of these singles, “malmita”, now has a music video.
The animation was made by Fernando Cabral, who had already animated the cover of “Cemitério de Pontas” EP, released in April this year. He talks about the video process: “I work with animation and was already interested in animating a band playing, so when the idea came up at a bar table, I was excited. It was great to make something that brings together 3 passions: caricature, animation and music. I am happy with the result and I hope the audience enjoys it”.
The single is one of the 24 unreleased songs that make up the album. “Our friend Felipe Morgan came up with the lyrics, I put a couple of chords together and it was ready. Short and straightforward, straight to the point”, says bassist Gabriel Veloso of the song that is only 39 seconds long.
