SERAPHIC announce new album ‘Chrysalis’ – due out October 30th

Brisbane symphonic metal act Seraphic is proud to announce their sophomore album Chrysalis, set for release on October 30th.

Deriving their name from the Seraph, an angel which traditional Christian angelology is associated with light, ardour, and purity, Seraphic is true to their name, combining powerful riffs with soaring vocal lines and moving symphonic passages.

Just as the title suggests, Chrysalis represents a true evolution of Seraphic’s unique melodic metal sound, with each track a distinctive stage in a compelling and transformative journey.

A highly personal release from the band, the 9-track epic immerses the listener in a rich and colourful soundscape that musically embodies a deep metamorphosis of the soul.

The album was recorded off the back of an incredible 2019 for the band, which saw them share the stage with power metal legends Turilli/Leone Rhapsody, in addition to landmark sets at Progfest Brisbane and headlining appearances in Brisbane and Melbourne to raise funds for Share the Dignity.

Now a leading symphonic metal band in Australia, Seraphic’s stock is set to explode with the release of Chrysalis, an album in equal parts beautiful and ambitious.
