Emanzipation Productions signs STASS

Emanzipation Productions proudly announces that STASS, the death metal band that features Felix Stass (Crematory), Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Revolting, Demiurg, Ribspreader), Kjetil Lynghaug (Mordenial) and Thomas Ohlsson (Apostasy), is now in its rooster. The second album from the international four-piece, entitled “Songs Of Flesh And Decay“, will be released in January 2021.

Felix states: “I’m happy to work with a good record company that knows how to transport our music and loves to work together as much as we do“.

Rogga Johansson also commented on the signing. “Feels awesome to sign the new STASS album to a label with a pedigree such as Emanzipation has. This time the music had also taken a turn for the filthier, so its certainly a great match“.

STASS is the death metal vehicle for Felix Stass of the mighty german gothmetal giants Crematory.
The band was formed after Felix and Rogga met at a show, and later collaborated on a song for one of Roggas other bands.
After this the need to make more music together arose and the debut album “The Darkside” came, showcasing dark and melodic death metal.
This time around Felix had another idea though, and wanted to go full on dirty but massive oldschool death metal.
Still melodic but with the groove and grit from the old Swedish sound both in songrwriting and in the albums sound.
The result is “Songs Of Flesh And Decay”, heavily leaning towards the old Sunlight Studio sound and with songs that are both heavy and catchy.

Felix Stass: vocals (CREMATORY)
Kjetil Lynghaug: lead guitars (MORDENIAL)
Thomas Ohlsson: drums (APOSTASY)
