The Pit premieres fast-paced and devastating REVOLTING track!

Swedish death metal outfit Revolting have clearly marked their space as OSDM heavyweights, and with their impending ‘The Shadow At The World’s End’ release, the band promises to majestically increase their followers manifold- something that the members of the Rogga Johannson and Paganizer-infused bands have clearly made a  formidable habit out of! The Pit did a premiere for the “Dragged Back To the Cellar” track from the upcoming album, which you can read more about and check out AT THIS LINK. An excerpt:

Rushing forth with a thrash gallop, the track immediately merges groaning, mold-edged melodeath riffs with gore-snarls and tongue-out solos. A bridge in the middle provides a moment of hair-bobbing and heel-stomping, but it exists mostly to give way back into the song’s excitable speed. The track’s tempo and atmosphere seem tailor-made to whip up a frenzy among crowd of miscreants who refuse to take off their leather jackets”

For fans of -Paganizer, Rogga Johansson, Entombed, Dismember, Edge of Sanity, Hypocrisy, Grave, Unleashed, early Tiamat

Revolting happens to be one of Rogga Johansson’s most prominent and long-running bands along with Paganizer. The band is also one of the most active ones. Fans will know that they’ve honed their craft over the years and they do things in a better way with each one. For the seventh full length, Rogga Johansson has done his best blending classic Swedish melodies with the brute force that his bands are associated with. Imagine a mix of Paganizer and Rogga Johansson and you’ve got something that has the best qualities of both the Swedish-sounding bands, which are presently at the peak of their respective careers. There’s of course the added groove and memorability that’s hard to dislike. All in all, if you’re a fan of well-rounded Swedish death metal that has everything in spades, Revolting is for you.
