‘Vittring’ is the Swedish word for scent but also weathering depending on how it is used, and the video (directed by RIIVATA Visuals) is a spin on that. Like a predator that smells its prey. The narrative explores using drugs to push limits and expand horizons, but then falling prey to a bigger force. That force could be a dark side within oneself, or brought out by someone else.

The band have also announced that drummer Klas Blomgren has joined the band. Klas commented: “Having known Buster for over a decade now, I’ve been following HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH since the start. Constantly evolving into what I think is the heaviest and darkest music I’ve ever heard. From a drumming perspective, this will surely be a challenge as it is not only technical but fast as well. I can’t describe the feeling of getting to play in one of your favourite bands, along with extremely talented guys FilipCalle and Buster. I’m beyond excited to share the stage with these great dudes.”

For more information:

HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH are a deathcore band from Helsingborg, Sweden. Since their inception in 2009, they have made huge waves in the death metal underground with their monolithic, terrifyingly heavy, and relentlessly technical sound.

Led by band mastermind, guitarist and producer Buster Odeholm (Vildjharta, Born of Osiris, Oceano), HLB have proven time and time again to be one of the most fearless, uncompromising, and creative voices in extreme music.
