Lithuanian black metallers SISYPHEAN have revealed a live-in-studio video of “Open Wounds”. This is the first track off the upcoming bands’ album “Colours of Faith”.
Guitarist Kamil comments: “This is a bleak song that deals with hopelessness that one can encounter in the decaying urban environment. All of this can manifest through highly self-destructive forms and plain fatalism.”
Vocalist Dainius adds: “During these times, when no gigs are happening, we wanted to provide the audience with a video that could mimic a live performance. We wanted it to be raw, alive, breathing, yet professional and aesthetic.”
The song was captured in MuzLab studio with the help of a renowned producer Augustinas Bėkšta. Visual part was rendered with help of an upcoming visual artist Ernestas Skripkūnas. The clip was shot just days before a wide-scale lockdown was announced in Lithuania.
