Last Friday (March 26th), Debemur Morti Productions proudly released the vinyl version of the fourth ANARKHON album “Phantasmagorical Personification Of The Death Temple“. The latest longplayer of the Brazilian band is an ominous and heavy atmospheric Death Metal album on which the motive of death is omnipresent. Frontman and guitarist Aron told German Legacy printmag in an interview about the core of this album:
“The title of the album appeared after I finished all the lyrics. “DEATH” is the epicenter of this work, in each song on the album it gains a different vision, form or interpretation. So, the title is an attempt to try to conceive what is inconceivable. We are trying to make palpable what cannot be touched. This is a real view for some and unreal for others. We are asking what could be the portals behind which the primordial thing of the cosmos lives. It touches or happens to everything we know on this planet and out of it – from the smallest cell to the supermassive black holes, death will be there in its ‘Phantasmagorical Temple’ waiting for everything that exists.”
“Phantasmagorical Personification Of The Death Temple” may be streamed on ANARKHON’s Bandcamp page as well as on the YouTube channel of Debemur Morti Productions.

ANARKHON emerged from Brazil in 1999 as a brutal Death Metal band aesthetically influenced by vintage CANNIBAL CORPSE, releasing a number of well-received demos, splits and full-lengths between 2002 and 2013 before taking a six year hiatus. 2020 saw the band return reinvigorated with new album “Phantasmagorical Personification Of The Death Temple“, a more obscure, experimental and cerebral record of eerie atmospheric riffs and cavernous vocals heavily influenced by the cosmic horror of H.P Lovecraft.
