Recently, the German scene veterans of Final Cry announced their deal with Black Sunset / MDD. Now the band from Lower Saxony also reveals who the new frontman will be: Kai “Aki” Wilhelm, originally from Berlin, is the new man at the mic. Kai, who has been active in the metal scene since the early nineties, was most recently responsible for the vocals on the 2016 album “The End Is Near” by Nordic Death Metallers Across The Burning Sky and was active in the ’00s with Berlin thrash/deathcorers Subconscious. Now based in Lower Saxony, he applied to the vocalist vacancy of Final Cry, wich are based in the same region, and since they already knew each other slightly from various scene activities, they quickly found each other. From 15 to 20 November, the now complete quintet will record the follow-up to their 2018 album “Zombique” at Soundlodge Studio under the wing of Jörg Uken. Be prepared!
