We are very happy to announce the new date for the Maximum Rock Festival 2021 edition has been set for September 11-12 and will take place at the Roman Arenas in Bucharest / Romania.
The reconfirmed bands for Maximum Rock Festival are: Epica (Netherlands), Therion (Sweden), Orphaned Land (Israel), Subterranean Masquerade (Israel), Riot Monk (Romania), Loch Vostok (Sweden) and Magnetic (Bulgaria).
Unfortunately, Devin Townsend and Katatonia’s touring schedule made impossible their participation at this edition of the festival, but they will most likely confirm for the 2022 edition. Nevertheless, the new names confirmed for this year are Eluveitie and Dirty Shirt (Romania), two bands extremely loved by the Romanian and international public.
This year’s edition of Maximum Rock Festival will be in accordance with the current anti-Covid restrictions imposed by the competent authorities in Romania. We want to provide a safe environment for all the participants and that’s why we will limit the public access to 50% of the capacity of the location.
The tickets purchased so far are valid for the September 2021 edition of the festival, and those who (for various reasons) cannot participate in this year’s edition of the festival can use the tickets for Maximum Rock Festival 2022.
