WARNING announce Watching from a Distance – Live at Roadburn album

Cappio Records is pleased to announce the label’s first physical product, due for release this autumn. WARNING’s Watching from a Distance – Live at Roadburn was recorded at the 2017 edition of the festival in The Netherlands, capturing the return of the legendary doom band after an extended hiatus. The limited edition double gatefold album is available to order HERE

Recorded by Marcel van de Vondervoort and his team on site, audio was mixed by Chris Fullard (Idles, Ulver) , and mastered by Michael Lawrence at Bladud Flies! (Ulver, Current 93). The double gatefold vinyl features exclusively commissioned artwork by Finnish artist Tekla Vály, who has created photographic interpretations of the paintings by Matt Mahurin which formed studio album’s original sleeve artwork.

WARNING released Watching from a Distance back in 2006, before disbanding in 2008. The record continued to gain fans in the band’s absence, and after a prolonged hiatus, Patrick Walker reformed WARNING for Roadburn Festival in 2017 where they performed Watching from a Distance in full. The band went on to play a string of dates and further festivals including Hellfest and Desertfest, before once again downing tools.

The pressing is limited to just 500 hand-numbered copies, and is expected to ship in September.

The WARNING back catalogue is available digitally via Cappio Records, with studio albums given the reissue treatment courtesy of Svart RecordsWARNING releases and merchandise are available via their online store
