NEEDLESS signs to UPRISING! Records

UPRISING! Records is very proud to announce the signing of your Hungarian talents NEEDLESS. The quintet from Pest caught our ears with a technical, melodic, brutal, and tight mixture of death, thrash and black metal. Their first album “Heresy” was really promising and now the pact is made to try to bring Needless to new heights via UPRISING!

We are so happy to announce our collaboration with the German UPRISING Records”, the band states. “We also feel relieved, that our new record is in the best hands right now, and looking forward to see how far we can bring “The Cosmic Cauldron” with such professional help beside us. The engines have started, maniac sci-fi death thrash is ready for take-off to rule the galaxy“.

Needless second album is expected to be released at the end of 2021. It will be a sci-fi concept work and will feature the amazing voice of Martina Horvath, from Thy Catafalque. Until there, you can listen to songs of their debut, such as “Prophet Of Ivory”, here.

Needless was founded during the winter of 2004 in Dánszentmiklós, Hungary. The band started as a home project, and slowly evolved into an active group for the year 2014. Their music basically consists of traditional elements of melodic thrash and death metal with the atmospheric side of black metal with some progressive elements. All mixed up into a fierce blend of aggression and ferocity, with mythical themes and nihilistic contemplations about humankind in the lyrics. In 2015 the band came up with their first accountable release called “The Dark Spirit of Ages” EP, which received critically positive feedback. After its release, Needless did several shows in its home country with bands like Aggression, Nervosa, Nuclear, Dew-Scented, and Flotsam And Jetsam.
