The French quintet has worked on the successor of “False Highs, True Lows” since the year 2016. With their will to experiment and to leave behind all musical borders, PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND created a dissonant and thick cacophony of extreme sounds in ten compositions. Today, Debemur Morti Productions proudly herald the release of PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND‘s new long player “Rien ne suffit“, an apocalyptic and vanguard piece of Art.

“PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND has always been our vessel for releasing creative energy. By starting to design this record, we first wanted to push back all technical, physical or psychological boundaries in order to go further in this approach. “Rien ne suffit” has the ambition of exposing a representation of the world, by portraying this archaic tropism which condemns us to squander the excess of primitive energy. This cursed part, which generates the exuberances of our modern societies as our intimate lives, pushes us to move forward without really choosing the direction. Despite all our efforts, the permanent search for meaning dazzles us, and exposes us to blind spots. This will-to-power leads us into a permanent, almost cyclical movement, which alternates an attempt to overcome and a return to our ancestral misery.“

Formed in Toulouse, France in 2005, PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND create dissonant and emotional Extreme Metal.
The band’s most recent albums “Lowgazers” (2014) and “False Highs, True Lows” (2016) received considerable praise from underground and mainstream media alike, highlighting their crushing and highly innovative style. Rewarded for their uncompromising dedication to crossing musical borders, artist/curator James Kent (PERTUBATOR) invited PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND to perform at Roadburn festival 2020. To date, the band has played over 200 shows and festivals across the USA, Russia, India, UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Eastern Europe and France, including Hellfest.
In 2021, PLEBEIAN GRANDSTAND signed a deal with Debemur Morti Productions who will unleash fourth album “Rien ne suffit” in November, in which the band create constant tightrope-walk tension as they blur the edges of avantgarde Black Metal, chaotic Hardcore, blown-out Jazz, corrosive Noise, experimental Electronica and death Industrial into an ultra-contemporary form of ‘post-Metal’ in the truest application of the term. “Rien ne suffit” is the soundtrack to a world in turmoil.
