BLAST OPEN Signs with Suspiria Records

BLAST OPEN is a Metal band from Asturias formed in 2008 by seasoned musicians from the Asturian Metal scene.
 In 2010 they released their first two songs in demo format, “Lost” and “Bad to Worse”, with which they began to be present in concerts with bands like Vicious Rumors, Primal Fear or Havok.
 
In October 2012 they released their debut album titled “They Destroy Our World”. They perform the presentation of the album participating in summer festivals with bands such as Crisix, Evile, Mnemic, Vita Imana or Teksuo, and in November begins the presentation tour shared with the Valladolid band XXX, called “Dementia Destroys Our World” performed in different Spanish cities.
 
To support the album and tour, they release the video “Blinded”, made by the ThrashWay agency and participate in the W: O: A Metal Battle Spain 2013, qualifying for the final held in Molins de Rey. “Human Shield” is the chosen track for the CD “Grand Sounds Promotion Vol.3“, a collection of songs from metal genre bands distributed worldwide. During 2013 they closed the album presentation tour and ended the year performing at the Mutant Fest and Killed by Death II festivals, along with bands such as Darksun, Posession, Human or Avulsed.
 
Their second album is “Beyond The Hope” (2016). Self-published work and supported by an extensive tour throughout Spain. They get recognized with Top 10 of the best national albums of 2016 voted by the audience of the radio program Diario de un Metalhead, and National Top 10 of the editor Pablo Folgueira of MetalCry. Nominated for best rock album at the 2017 Amas Awards. Andrés Álvarez is also the winner in the “guitar” category at the 2018 Amas Awards.
The tour ends in November 2019 at the Otero Brutal Fest with Memorian and the Cavalera brothers, among other bands.
 
Their new album will be released in 2022 with nine songs where the band’s style expands into new sonic fields of Metal and will be released and distributed by Suspiria Records.
