Black Lion Records to reissue KVAEN debut album “The Funeral Pyre”!

Black Lion Records have announced the reissue of KVAEN‘s critically acclaimed debut album The Funeral Pyre. Slated for a re-release in mid 2022, The Funeral Pyre delivers well-executed black metal from the north and takes the listener back to the times when evil reigned from 80’s classic speed metal riffs to ringing dive bombs, right up to the church-burning pagan worshiping 90’s black metal. The Funeral Pyre truly takes the listener on a wild and relentless ride deep through Norwegian forests, mountains and deep valleys!

Black Lion Records comments:

We are proud to announce the third pressing of the critically acclaimed debut album The Funeral Pyre.
The album proved to be a huge hit in the underground scene and was very well received by fans and critics. With the album outselling two pressings within a year, it was clear it was not enough to satisfy the demand. This time we present two colors; Standard black and a very limited edition in “Oxblood Red”. Both vinyls are 180g and comes with a printed lyric sheet.

The pre-sale just started at THIS LOCATION

Furthermore, KVAEN is gearing up for the release of his sophomore studio album The Great Below, to be released on March 25th via Black Lion Records. A first single for your listening pleasure and the pre-order of the album are available HERE
