THE END AT THE BEGINNING – The New Album “Lightbringer” Out On April 8th

Italian metalcore act The End At The Beginning have today released their new single “Exile”. The track features on a new album “Lightbringer”, which will be released on April 8th in partnership with Superbia Music. The first single will be available in December. The album was recorded at Zeta Factory with Federico Ascari on recording, mixing and mastering engineer. Artwork by Mattia Castiglia.

About the new single the band says: “‘Exile’ is the first single from our new album ‘Lightbringer’. It is the second track and starts describing the fall of Lucifer into the abyss, who tears apart the clouds wrapped in flames and smoke. He therefore finds himself in the darkness and, despite being destroyed, the light still shines within him, like a distant dormant fire. The light disappears when, mindful of his heritage, he rises again to seek revenge swearing to corrupt the whole creation. The song starts very aggressively with blastbeats and sharp riffs, in which the speed and the drama represents the main theme of this first section. A dramatic pre-chorus is supported by the orchestral section, much more present here than in the other productions, and leads to a chorus in which Lucifer screams the pain for his condition. The song continues on tight rhythms towards djent-style breakdowns that break the rhythm of the song in a whirlwind of energy and drama. This album is the result of our compositional experience, a last step where we wanted to tell a story to the listener as if he was in front of a big screen. This is ‘Exile’ . This is ‘Lightbringer’”.
