The brazilian heavy metal band Warred unleash the official video with the new single “The Siren”, which is part of their upcoming brand new album “The Siren“, to be released on May 19th.
The song “The Siren“, portrays the greed and malevolence of the modern man, and what this kind of behavior can do to our society. The lyrics show “the ruin of the population over the choices and manipulations of those who have the power, and the submissive side of those who can’t do anything against that, but accept that fact”, according to the guitarist Arthur Ernandes.
Warred was founded in 2012 by young band members and long time friends Arthur and Rodrigo. They both shared the same passion for old school metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and more. After a few changes in the band formation, since 2020, the band stablished their identity, mixing the old school metal with modern metal influences. Having released three singles since 2019, Warred now comes with a brand new song and video “The Siren” that is featured on the band’s upcoming album “The Siren”. The single was recorded at Dual Noise Studios in Sao Paulo with renowned brazilian metal producer Rogerio Wecko, and the video was shot at Portland Cement Factory in Sao Paulo, filmed, directed and edited by Jorge Torres and Raul Jacomini from Riff Filmes. The album “The Siren” will be released on May 19th of 2022.
