GLADENFOLD – to release new album “Nemesis” in April

The Finnish Melodic Metal act GLADENFOLD are going to release their third studio album, “NEMESIS”, on April 29th via REAPER ENTERTAINMENT.

This time, Gladenfold explores their melodic death metal roots, resulting in an album by far their darkest and most extreme both in tone and atmosphere. Yet again, with vast soundscapes and versatile songwriting, the band delivers smooth and tender acoustic tones, aggressive and fast-paced riffage, all the way to those grand and majestic parts and uplifting power metal moments, all distinctive of Gladenfold’s sonic repertoire.

The album was mixed by Juhis Kauppinen at ShedStudios and once again mastered by Joona Lukala at Noise For Fiction. The stunning cover art was made by Felipe Machano Franco, known for creating art for bands like Blind Guardian, Iron Savior, Rhapsody of Fire etc.

The band comments on the cover art:
“We wanted the album cover to reflect the dark and sinister mood of the album, which is present both musically and lyrically. Many of the songs are dealing with themes of self-reflection, about giving in the dark regions of one’s mind, and finding the existence of one’s wicked features. With that being said, the cover art should speak for itself. Felipe truly nailed our vision with his craftsmanship.

The first single and music video drops on February 25th. So, stay tuned and get prepared as the storm is heading your way!
