“Último Vector” is the first extract off RUINAS upcoming EP “Resurrekzión“, due to be released on May 13, 2022 via Spikerot Records. Exactly two years after the debut “Ikonoklasta”, released in the middle of the first wave of the pandemic, the band led by Rober Bustabad of the Spanish death-grind legends MACHETAZO returns with a bleak and brutal work, unusual at times, where the themes of death, an apocalyptic vision of Christianity and a sense of impending doom, chase each other relentlessly.

Life is Death. Infinite? Almost eternal” says Rober. “Everything dies and rots, slowly and inherently. And inexorably it begins again. Blessed are those who are resurrected, for they can start over… even without chosing it.

“Último Vector” is the last cry of a world ready to capitulate and for which there is no cure, with the image of death riding victorious towards the bitter end, where all the children of God rot the same way as rats and pigs, reminding us all lives are equal in the eyes of death.
