CIRCLE OF SILENCE founding member and bassist passes away

Massacre Records is heartbroken to share the following news with you: CIRCLE OF SILENCE founding member and bassist Björn has passed away.

The band issued the following statement:

“With deep regret we have to announce that our dear friend, founding member and bass player of Circle Of Silence, Björn, has passed away yesterday. Over 16 years as band members and even longer as friends we shared so many great memories together, we’ll treasure all of them in our mind with a smile and will never forget them. We just say thank you for the great time we had together!

Björn was one of the driving forces of Circle Of Silence, without him the band would not be the band it was over the last 16 years. It was not just about writing songs, he also did much of the background work with full passion. He was also the haven of peace in our band. We will miss your personality, your strong voice and bass lines! In deep thankfulness, your band!

‘Walk Through Hell’ is Björn’s lifetime album with many personal and motivating lyrics. His intention was to stay positive even in hard times and to never surrender. And it doesn’t matter if it is about health or other issues. It was very important for him that the fans have a positive feeling after listening to his lyrics.”
