Germany’s most spectacular band are Weimar’s DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER. The band, whose name translates as “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”, brandish a unique style of melodic heaviness, accompanied by one of a kind, intense lyrics. Today, the band unleash their new masterpiece “Wilde Kinder” (=“Wild Children”), which is the official successor to their highly successful album “Der Rote Reiter” (2017)!
They also reveal a music video for their new single ‘Leinen Los’, that perfectly represents the album’s free spirit. The video will premiere today at 13:00 CEST HERE

After two incredibly exhausting years of stagnation, we’re finally taking you with us on this journey and say ‘Leinen Los’ (Cast Off!). Our new video was made during our travels throughout France and Spain in winter 2022. We had no crew, just a camera and very little technology, but instead we had so much appreciation and gratitude for all these unforgettable moments surrounded by beautiful landscapes and nature.“

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER recently presented Reiterwald(= riders’ forest), a unique environmental protection project in collaboration with WILDERNESS INTERNATIONAL.
“We want to protect an area of primeval forest as large as the Wacken festival forever”.
DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER and their community of fans want to permanently preserve 50.000 square meters of unique and irreplaceable wilderness, in an area as large as the entirety of Wacken Open Air festival. Tropical and temperate primary forest areas in Canada and Peru will be legally purchased by the environmental foundation and protected from deforestation. Fans can invest in a sponsorship and enter the display name #Reiterwald to become part of the fan movement for the preservation of these forests. Participants will receive a personalized sponsorship certificate with an aerial photo and geo-coordinates of the exact piece of forest and a donation receipt. They can track exactly which piece of unique wilderness has been preserved forever.
