New Noise Magazine is hosting the exclusive premiere of a new lyric video for ” Sinaxe Do Sepúlcro Tafófobo,” the new single from Portuguese death/grindcore icons HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL, as Selfmadegod Records prepares for next week’s release of the band’s sixth album, Crueza Ferina.
HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL is unanimously considered to be one of the most unique and well known Portuguese extreme bands. Crueza Ferina delivers nineteen tracks of brutal death metal/grindcore at its best. Produced and engineered by João Ribeiro, Crueza Ferina’s drums were recorded at Rec’n’Roll Studios, the guitars and bass were recorded at 808 Studios, and the vocals were recorded at Estúdio 55. The album was mixed by João Ribeiro at Estúdio 55, mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Obituary, Necrot, Torche, Ulcerate), with photography by Rui Pires as the cover artwork. Additionally, Immolation’s Bob Vigna supplies a guest solo on the track “Êxodo Mortuoso.”
“Sinaxe Do Sepúlcro Tafófobo” is song number four in Crueza Ferina’s massive arsenal. With its release, guitarist António C. reveals, “On this one we went after our punk/crust roots. It’s probably one of the few songs in the HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL repertoire without a single blastbeat and it’s undoubtedly one of my personal faves of the new album. Also, it features our ex-guitarist and close friend Eduardo F. on guest vocals so it is indeed very special.”
