Latest album, Looking for Transcendence, finally available on Vinyl!
Following their much acclaimed debut, Looking for Transcendence (2021, Argonauta Records), Toulouse-based doom metal trio INDIGO RAVEN has shared a stunning cover version of “Push The Sky Away” by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
“This song has a very humble yet powerful vibration“, says vocalist Julie Docteur. “One of the most poetic and linear piece of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, last of the eponymous album, which was covered by few. We chose it for its message, to always grow higher, aim bigger, become true to oneself fingers point to heaven. It’s somehow a memorable anthem to never give up.”

INDIGO RAVEN was formed in 2019. Shortly after self-releasing an EP just a year later, the trio signed a deal with Italian powerhouse label Argonauta Records, who released their critically acclaimed, first full-length album, Looking for Transcendence, in October 2021. The trio’s sound emerges from the Peaceville Three’s influence with a modern sludge approach.
