Gothenburg/Stockholm – based deathgrinding punks CHILD have unleashed their furious, brand new single “Manic Vortex”. Taken from the band’s upcoming debut album “Meditations In Filth”, which is slated to be released in early 2023 via Swedish label EAT Heavy Records, “Manic Vortex” is nothing else but a nonstop thrill ride offering two minutes of pure grim and intensity.

Manic Vortex is about the curse about the different cycles in life. The frustration of human boundries. And both music and lyrics reflect that. With this track we invite you to the manic Vortex that is life” CHILD comments.

The foundations of CHILD can be traced back to 2015 when Alex Stjernfeldt (NovaruptaGrand CadaverLet Them Hang, ex-The Moth Gatherer, ex-Mr. Death) and his longtime friend Albin Sköld (Aardena) wanted to create something new and extreme. In 2018 they were joined by Joakim Lindström (Mr.Death/The Grifted) and performed their first show in Stockholm. Between 2018 and 2021 their creativity peaked as they rehearsed and began writing new music. Staffan Persson (Let Them Hang) and Per Stålberg (Division Of Laura LeePablo Matisse) joined the band shortly after. Being a full band, CHILD entered Welfare Sounds later the same year and started recording their debut album, which is set to see the light of day in the not-too-distant future.

Be prepared for an overwhelming sonic experience full of sonic twists and grinding turns as well as “the Black Album of grindcore”! “Meditations In Filth” to be released early 2023 via EAT Heavy Records!
