Coffin Feeder is an 80s-90s action movie obsessed death metal band featuring Aborted vocalist Sven de Caluwé, alongside members of grindcore band Leng Tch’e and goofy metalcore maniacs Fleddy Melculy. The bands new single Dead or Alive is all about one of their favorite action heroes: ROBOCOP!

Dead or Alive is taken off of the bands second EP OVER THE TOP, which is going to be releasend on November 30th, 2022, worldwide.
OVER THE TOP’s incredible artwork was realised by Dan Goldsworthy (Corpsegrinder, Alestorm, Aborted, …) and has more movie references than the band has snare hits per blast. Over the top (the movie) was released in 1987, so the artwork has about 87 references to movies from the band’s favourite era. Going from The Terminator to Robocop to Star Wars, Alien or Batman. It’s all there, in a hilarious package.
Shifting their focus into pop culture, the new EP has four songs speaking of everyone’s beloved 80s-90s action heroes with a tongue in cheek sense of humor and wit.

Founded in 2020 during the covid pandemic by members of Aborted, Leng Tch’e and Fleddy Melculy, the band created it’s initial sound on the debut EP ‘Stereo Homicide’ into a perfect blend of the members original bands but has since transcended into something even more visceral and powerful.
The band’s latest offering ‘Over the Top’, is exactly what the title means. It’s an over the top display of heaviness, breakdowns, grooves and blasts. An almost effortless bastard mixture of death metal, deathcore, hardcore and grind.
Over the past year Coffin Feeder have been taking stages by storm all over the Benelux (playing the sold-out Samhain festival in Belgium, supporting Death to All in the Netherlands, the legendary Ieperfest or Fleddypalooza at the AB in Brussels) and Germany (Slamming alongside genre founders Suffocation and more at DeathFeast) and European touring plans and festivals are planned for 2023.
