EXOCRINE sign to Season of Mist

Season of Mist are proud to announce the signing of EXOCRINE! The French kings of technical Deathmetal have been kicking in heads since their arise in 2015 and have released their fifth album in 2022.

When you think of Death Metal filled with flying tempos, technicalities and brutality to the max, EXOCRINE is your best friend!

EXOCRINE comment on the signing: “We can’t say how proud we are and what an honor it is to join Season Of Mist! They have supported so many iconic bands that are part of our influences in many different styles. SoM is the perfect platform for our music, and we can’t wait to work with them and start the composition of our next album! We will stay true to ourselves while innovating and SoM totally puts us in confidence for that and for the future!”

Genre: Technical Deathmetal

EXOCRINE
With the release of the the Bordeaux-based group EXOCRINE’s first album ‘Unreal Existence’ in 2015, the band found their way into the world of technical deathmetal. The release of ‘The Hybrid Suns’ in 2022 is their career-defining fifth record, a concept album studying the voyage between life and death, and showcases a jaw-dropping level of musicianship. Continuing to push the boundaries of extremity and precision playing, Exocrine are the bridge between the ferocity of ARCHSPIRE and CRYPTOPSY, and the potent progressive leanings of OBSCURA and GOROD.

The band comments: “‘The Hybrid Suns’ is the first titular offering, introducing a new concept with a complex narrative frame to set the tone for the forthcoming album. As usual we have paid particular attention on the technical aspects and the speed, however this time we’ve pushed harder on the epic side of things to create a more grandiose sound!”

Sylvain Octor Perez: Lead Guitar
Jordy Besse: Bass / vocals
Nicolas La Rosa: Guitar
