The death metal commando HYPNOS has prepared the premiere of the new music video “In Grief / Too Old To Cry” from the album “The Blackcrow” on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022. The date, chosen deliberately and symbolically for the “Remembrance of the Dead” holiday in their home countries, is meant to be a reminder of more than 2 dozen friends of the group from the music industry, who are no longer with us. Frontman Bruno adds: “Over the long decades of our career, we have met a lot of people with whom we became friends more than others, but whose candle of life went out before us. We will mention several of them in the new video clip. We know that this is only the tip of the iceberg and that there are many more musicians, music promoters, journalists and publishers on the metal scene. These are the ones we miss the most. Remembrance is unfortunately the only thing we can do for them. Our one is 10 minutes and 22 seconds long…….”
So far, the last full-length HYPNOS album “The Blackcrow” was released almost exactly 2 years ago, on October 30th, 2020, by Einheit Produktionen (CD), or Monster Nation (LP), but its more extensive concert support has been hampered by covid restrictions. The track “In Grief / Too Old to Cry” is the last on the album and with a length of around 10 minutes is the longest in the band’s history. For the first half of 2023, HYPNOS are planning more extensive concert activities across several European countries in the company of the Slovak band DOOMAS.
Premiere of the clip: Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022 at 8:00 a.m
