GRAVE WITH A VIEW release their debut self-titled EP displaying their own brand of soul-crushing black ‘n’ roll, taking a groove oriented approach and dragging it kicking and screaming into a more extreme direction.
Founded in 2018, by O, the band only completed a few releases before being resurrected in 2021, leaving O and J the only remaining official members. In the band’s own words, “The new essence of GRAVE WITH A VIEW was forged around the tenet; Negative.Nihilistic.Nothingness.”
This self-titled EP release features vocals dripping with venom, back by riffs vomited forth by guitars that have a cold, blackened tone that sounds straight from the festering grave of a rotting corpse. Explorations of more groove-laden concepts earlier in the EP give way into the last two tracks—-both are dirges of nihilistic sludge/doom.
