Tartu extreme trio ZIEGENHORN releases the full-length “Blut&Kaos”!

The end of 2022 brings an important addition to Tartu’s rising metal scene – the black-death metal trio Ziegenhorn will release their first studio album “Blut&Kaos“, a collection of extreme anthems, on the 12th day of the 12th month in this year of twos. The album’s music closely intertwines influences from death, black and war metal, but instead of a fine stylistic classification, Ziegenhorn’s work can be called honest and aggressive extreme metal without further ado.

Blut&Kaos” is in many ways a conceptual album which is not for those souls who enjoy peace and order. In Western cultural traditions, dark forces are often depicted as creatures with horns and hooves, symbolizing wildness. The same aesthetic values are also borne by the visual design of this record, which by the way has been contributed by as many as three different artists dedicated to the world of extreme music.

Ziegenhorn was founded in 2019 by a guitarist-vocalist Kruxificator of Extragoatial Might to realize his extreme musical ideas. Experienced Southern Estonian metal musicians have since joined behind the bass and drums. Previously, the band has released the demo “Goat Demo(n)” (2019) and contributed to the joint album of Tartu bands “Tarbathian Fortress” (2020). The band gives very rarely concerts but has already performed on selected stages in Estonia as well as in Germany and Scotland.

The album will be released on December 12, 2022 by the Estonian record label Warhorn Records on CD and digitally. Also, in April 2023, Warhorn Records and the German label Wolfsgrimm Records will release the album on vinyl as limited red and black edition.
