Death Metal band MONASTERY join the AGR family and reveal details of upcoming album

Art Gates Records is thrilled to announce the addition of Hungarian death metal powerhouse Monastery to the family of talents.

With their ferocious sound and unrelenting energy, Monastery are proving to be an unstoppable machinery in the metal scene and their signing with Art Gates Records promises a fruitful collaboration between the band and the label.

Monastery are also set to unleash their upcoming album “From Blood” this September.

This offering is a testament to the band’s relentless dedication to their craft, in which they define their sound as follows:
“The sound of the new album is slightly different from the previous ones, now we were able to work in better conditions and with one of the best domestic producers. We tried to keep the old school sound, but also in a way that meets the sound expected today. The band means a lot to us, and so does this new album! We always put the music together based on the themes of the guitarists, and then we knead it together into songs! Roland is the vocalist, and Lajos “Dixi” Diószegi, a Hungarian friend of ours living in England, writes the lyrics”.
The cover has been designed by Bogi Waldman, and Monastery wanted to symbolize the suffering of the present, how people suffer in this contagion created by politicians.
