Spanish Thrashers HOLYCIDE are back, and they do so with a new EP from which they advance a song entitled “War Broadcast Live“. This new work will be entitled “Bazookiller“, and will be released in September 12th, 2023 through Xtreem Music on CD and Digital formats.

HOLYCIDE has undergone major line-up changes over the last year, with the incorporation of a new bassist (Vicente J. Payá, who originally formed HOLYCIDE with Dave Rotten back in 2004) and drummer Santi Arroyo “GoG”, and about to incorporate a 2nd guitarist in September/ October. Meanwhile, as a quartet, the band has recorded an EP with 3 new songs and a cover of D.R.I. which will serve as an appetizer for what will be HOLYCIDE‘s 3rd album, which is already in writing process and is scheduled to be recorded at the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024 for its release in spring. These new songs from “Bazookiller” mark a more direct approach in the songs, with even more thrashy, catchier and more powerful riffs, which will result in even more intense and wild live shows!!
“Bazookiller” was recorded between the months of March and June, being mixed at Monstery Studios by Javi Fernández and mastered at MK2 Recording Studio (Italy) by Davide Billia, achieving an impressive production with a really powerful sound!!
The three new songs of “Bazookiller” make up a conceptual work based on the invasion and genocide of Ukraine by the Russian troops led by its dictator Putin. The stunning cover art has been made by Ukrainian artist Daemorph Art who has released his creativity and feelings like never before!!
