Second advance of the debut album
Without taking a breath, Chilean power metal band, Urdemales, lashes out with the release of ‘Karol Zakrzewicz (Diktatorz Porkizemz)’, the second single from the self-titled debut album that will be released on September 21 of this year.
Just like the first single, ‘Selk Machina’, this video was made by D-Buster, who apart from being a guitarist in Urdemales, has also become the band’s audiovisual producer and network manager.
“In this song we wanted to make a mix between a lyric video and a more traditional video clip. It is a heavy mid-tempo, but at the same time quite melodic”, the band declares about the new song, adding: “Musically, the guttural voices of our guitarist Francisco Pardo are mixed with the clean voices of singer Diego Godoy. This song talks about a dictator personified as a pig, who reigns over an imaginary nation (although more than one person could relate it to real characters and places) and the reaction of a people who suffer from his tyranny. A heavy tune, but with a lot of rock’n roll and a good share of political satire. We want to show that, regarding sound and content, our music has broad criteria and forms”.
Let’s remember that Urdemales members are Francisco Pardo on guitar and second voice, D-Buster on guitar, Fernat Molinet on drums, Antonio Valenzuela on keyboard and Diego Godoy on vocals.
