Metalcore band SUNMANCER to release debut EP ‘NOTHING EVER HAPPENS’

Metallic hardcore heavy hitters SUNMANCER are set to drop the hammer in the form of their debut EP ‘NOTHING EVER HAPPENS.’  The band’s approach to metalcore takes the hardcore influences to heart as each song is an explosive burst of energy and unrelenting heaviness. But their metal side shines through as well with catchy, melodic dynamics and varied songwriting.

The two founding members, brothers Kyle and Justin Mazlik, cut their teeth in the band BROADCAST THE NIGHTMARE, who disbanded a year after being signed and releasing their debut album.  Atlanta based guitarist Jeremy Harlin, of FAITH IN RUIN, connected with the brothers to work on what would become SUNMANCER.  Shortly after the recording, the band recruited Dan Nelson on bass and Ramon Rellum on drums.

‘NOTHING EVER HAPPENS,’ is built with a robust rhythm section atop a sterling foundation, hard but catchy riffs, and a fiery vocal delivery. This six song monster is brought to life through the production by Patrick Snyder (of the bands HOLLOWER and FAITH IN RUIN), who also mixed and mastered the EP.
