DARKNESS to reissue “The Gasoline Solution”; Finally available again this May on Massacre Records!

Finally available again – re-mixed, remastered, with a newly recorded bass and a new artwork: The reissue of DARKNESS comeback album “The Gasoline Solution”, which was originally released in 2016! Coming as CD Digipak, Ltd. Following a rights-related dispute with a former label, the album disappeared from the stores. This was a bitter pill to swallow for the band as they were proud of this uncompromising old-school thrash album, with whom they celebrated their comeback after a 11-years-long hiatus in 2016.

For the reissue, the band’s current bassist Ben re-recorded the bass lines and DARKNESS once again teamed up with a well-proven team for the production and cover design: The new cover artwork was designed by Timon Kokott, while all songs were re-mixed by Cornelius “Corny” Rambadt at the Rambado Recording Studios. Cornelius already worked with the band on their album “First Class Violence”, their “Over And Out” EP as well as the brand new studio album “Blood On Canvas”, due out on April 26th (Pre-Order HERE!)

With “The Gasoline Solution”, DARKNESS proved that they are still as angry and violent as they were before their hiatus, and that Germany’s Ruhr area is still the home of rough and brutal thrash metal!
