Featuring 9 brand-new tracks for half an hour of playing time, “Absolute Destruction” is a must for those liking bands such as Morbid Angel, Death, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, and Entombed

Absolute Destruction is the fourth release from OPEN SURGERY. Everything is turned up a notch, both writing and production, as well as performance. The band stays true to its lyrical theme – the abnormalities in human nature. Also the Florida plus Stockholm-influenced Death Metal is kept intact!

OPEN SURGERY was founded in Finspong, Sweden in 2012. The band released the first full-length “Experiments of Excessive Torture” in 2013. The album was well received among the metalheads and the band also did a couple of smaller gigs around Finspong and in Stockholm, which helped increase the bands popularity. Finspong has an old tradition of Death Metal and Open Surgery is proud of their heritage and strives to hold the banner high. The band released their second full length album “Post Mortem Mutilation” in 2016, and an EP/Cassette titled “After Birth Abortion” in 2018.

The album was recorded and mixed at Köttindustrin studios, mastered by the Meat Master. Band photos by Open Surgery and Captains Archive. Band logo by Open Surgery.
